You can use gvidcap to take screenshot of moving demo under Linux...

If i cant take few of them is because of the display driver of mplayer that is not on the same layer of X... I just need to edit few setting, i will do it if i have some time.

And yes we have virtual desktop similar to apple one since many years under KDE. But again, like time machien, apple made them nicer.

About space, are they crazy? They did the same error than microsoft!!! They will backup all file (100% of the file) at every modification!!! 10 gb mozie and preview on pro apps too, everytime. And they didnt talk about compression or diff filter. They sais too that if a media is conected on the mac, osx will start backuping file automatikly on it. No warning if you want or not. Thay will backup the whole system, including internet temp and /tmp. It look nice, but is that a bad joke?

I know this might sound strange because i'm only 13, but I was wondering if the Leopard OS works on PPC...I was thinking about upgrading it, but didn't want to waste $129 if it doesn't work, because I heard that people tried the developer preview on their G4 macs, some worked, and some didn't. Also, I hope you can get that thing to work...I know that taking motion screenshots is a horror in Linux...oh well....
