[quote:a2478a5f4b]Apple wouldn't do it anyway. It would be like not making Windows anymore because you can run it on Virtual PC.

MS doesnt make computers, so they dont need to worry about it. Apple makes computers, so when PearPC can fully emualate an Apple computer then apple would need to worry.

Why would they worry?

OSX will never be able to run at full speed while it's being emulated. Apple doesn't have to worry about Pear at all; especially considering that Windows users have no [i:a2478a5f4b]need[/i:a2478a5f4b] to emulate a Mac to begin with. It is now, and most likely always will be, something to do just to say you can do it.

Of course , its just like Virtual PC for Mac...Apple will not worrry about PearPC and its impossible to run as fast as a Real Mac..Of couse , it may run faster , has sound support...etc...

I didn't get to post this earlier because I went through a hurricane and was without power for a week, but...

I'm writing this on my new Powerbook.

Several people told me that the 17 inch was huge, but I don't think so. It's big, but it's not huge. It fits on my lap nicely, and the screen is just wonderful. I just wish they'd taken the extra couple inches over the 15 inch and made a dedicated numeric keypad.

Now I just need to get a bag and more RAM. Don't know if I should buy another 512 stick or save up and buy the 1 gig...the 1 gig is just so expensive though... :sigh:
