Nvds60 problems!!!

Hi evreyone!!

i got a panasonic nvds60 a whil back and its worked perfectely untill very recently!!!

I get the indicator : condensation has occured!!!

I have aired it out for hours like the book said but no luck!!
ive heard you can replace the sensor with an 1k resister but im no curcitry wizard!!!

any help on how to fix my stupid problem would be greatfully recieved!!

I have one of those camera's but never had that error do you know what part it is that went bad? Cause if its not essential then I would just leave it.

i belive the camera is fine but wont function as the dew sensor is broken!!i think!!

its runo out!!the camera is over 3 and a 1/2 years old!!!

If you've taken the tape out and left the camera in a warm place for few days but the dew indicator is still displayed then try this:

You'll need to remove 7 screws altogether. There are 2 sizes of screws, so it's better to draw a diagram on paper as to where the screw comes from and you also do not need to remove the battery release screw.

Ok. lets start!

Remove 4 screws from the base except for the battery release screw, open the lcd cover & remove the screw near the AV input

Turn the camera on the opposite side and remove 2 screw under the shoulder strap holder and slowly pull the cover out.

Now you don't have to pull but push all the plastic wire connectors as if u were pushing them back in their slots.

Without touching the exposed base section, turn the camera on to see if the dew indicator has gone, if not turn the camera off, remove the battery and push those connectors again and retry.

If youre still unsuccessful remove the battery first and then remove each connector individually with a small nose pliers and push them back into their respective slots and retry.
